1. Setting up AdTranquility’s application on my mobile device
A. Downloading and installing AdTranquility’s mobile application:
1. For Android devices:
- Visit AdTranquility's product page on the Google Play Store.
- Tap Install to download and install the AdTranquility VPN Spam Blocker application on your Android mobile device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to ensure the correct installation and setup of AdTranquility's mobile application on your Android device.
B. Activating AdTranquility’s mobile application and enabling protection:
PLEASE NOTE
- If you have not yet downloaded and installed AdTranquility's mobile application, refer to section A. Downloading and installing AdTranquility’s mobile application to download and install it first.
- If you prefer following a step-by-step guide visually detailing all the instructions outlined below, refer to our Quick Start Guide.
- The availability of AdTranquility's features is contingent upon the product used and the operating system running on your device. As a result, some features may not yet be available/fully supported on your specific device and/or operating system. If you need more information/guidance on this point, please refer to section 3. I need assistance from Support and reach out to our Support team.
Here's how to activate the AdTranquility application on your mobile device:
- Open the AdTranquility application, enter the email (the email address you used to purchase your AdTranquility subscription), and tap on the Get Started button to allow our system to verify your email address. If you don't know your customer email, refer to section C. Identifying my customer email.
2. Next, tap on the Allow button to give AdTranquility permission to send you the notifications required in the activation process.
3. On the next screen, slide the Spam blocking toggle to the right. Then, tap the Go to Settings button. You will be redirected to your phone’s settings to give our application permissions to protect you from spam.
4. Once redirected, locate the AdTranquility application and slide the toggle to the right to activate your spam protection.
5. On the pop-up, tap Allow to enable the AdTranquility application to block all future push/pop spam browser notifications, protecting you from spam.
6. Next, tap on the push notification sent to your device by AdTranquility, to be redirected to the application and conclude the activation process.
7. Once on AdTranquility's application home screen, tap OK on the Connection request pop-up to enable a VPN connection on your device.
8. On the home screen, the big circle button in the center should be displayed in blue color, to indicate that you are protected. Blue
status labels confirm that both
Spam Shield and
Privacy Shield features are enabled on your device.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you skipped any of the steps above and required permissions are missing, the big circle button on the home screen may be displayed in gray color. You may also see the
Spam Shield and/or
Privacy Shield icons displayed in gray with a
status label.
If this happens, an alert message will appear at the top of the screen with instructions on how to enable the missing permissions. Simply follow the steps indicated to fully activate your protection.
C. Identifying my customer email
To activate and login to your AdTranquility mobile application, you’ll need to know the email address you used to purchase your AdTranquility subscription.
If you can't recall the email address you used, here's how to locate it:
- Search your email inbox for an invoice related to your AdTranquility subscription, or use the search bar in your inbox and search for: AdTranquility.
- If you find email(s) about your subscription in your inbox, then this is the email address you used to subscribe, and the one you'll need to activate your AdTranquility mobile application and enable your protection. Follow the steps provided in section A. Downloading and installing AdTranquility’s mobile application and/or B. Activating AdTranquility’s mobile application and enabling protection, to login and activate your AdTranquility mobile application.

If you don’t see our email(s) in your Inbox, they may have been filtered into your Spam folder. Sometimes emails are filtered there by mistake.
If that’s the case, here’s how to locate them:
- Open your email inbox and type AdTranquility in the search bar.
- If you get no results, select the All mail filter below the search bar to expand your search.
- Once you locate the email, open it and tap the button Report not spam. This ensures that future emails from AdTranquility will go directly to your inbox.

D. Checking if protection is enabled on my mobile device
PLEASE NOTE: If you have not yet downloaded, installed and/or activated AdTranquility's mobile application, refer to section A. Downloading and installing AdTranquility’s mobile application to download and install it, and/or to B. Activating AdTranquility’s mobile application and enabling protection and follow the steps indicated.
Once the mobile application is activated on your device, you are protected from spam browser notifications 24/7, and your online activities’ privacy is completely safeguarded, for as long as your subscription remains active. You're able to check/change the features’ status/settings at any time.
Here's how to check if protection is enabled on your mobile device:
- Open AdTranquility's mobile application.

If the big circle button in the center of the home screen is displayed in
blue colour, and both
Spam Shield and
Privacy Shield show blue icons and
status labels, then full protection is enabled on your mobile device.
3. If the big circle button in the center is displayed in gray color and both
Spam Shield and
Privacy Shield show gray icons and
status labels, then your mobile device is not protected. Tap the big circle button in the center to activate your protection again.
4. To manage your shields settings, simply tap on them from the home screen to access their respective settings screens.
2. Setting up AdTranquility’s extension on my desktop browser
A. Downloading and installing AdTranquility’s desktop browser extension:
- Visit AdTranquility's product page on the Chrome Store.
- Click the Add to Chrome button to download and install the extension on your Chrome desktop browser.
- Next, pin the AdTranquility extension to your Chrome browser bar for easy access:

Click on the Extensions icon.

Locate the AdTranquility extension and click on the pin icon
to ensure it is displayed in your browser bar.

Click on the Extensions icon.
B. Activating AdTranquility’s desktop browser extension and enabling protection:
PLEASE NOTE
- If you have not yet downloaded and installed AdTranquility's Chrome desktop browser extension, refer to section A. Downloading and installing AdTranquility’s desktop browser extension to download and install it first.
If you have installed the AdTranquility extension on a desktop browser, but you're unable to locate it, you should: 1) click on the vertical or horizontal three dots icon
located in the far-right corner of your browser bar, 2) click on Extensions/Manage Extensions, and locate AdTranquility's extension from the extensions list displayed.

Here's how to activate the AdTranquility extension on your Chrome desktop browser:
- Click on the AdTranquility extension, to open it and access the Login screen.
2. Enter your customer email (the email address you used to purchase your AdTranquility subscription) and click on the Verify button, to allow our system to verify your email address. If you don't know your customer email, refer to section C. Identifying my customer email.
3. Once you're on AdTranquility's extension main screen, you’ll be able to set up all the extension's features:

- Toggle the Block notifications status bar to the right, to activate Spam Shield, and permanently block all spam push/pop messages and ads.
- Toggle the Enable VPN status bar to the right to activate Privacy Shield and ensure your online security and privacy. Select your Preferred location (VPN), from the list of available countries.
- Toggle Block ads and Block video ads status bars to the right, to activate Adblocker, and benefit from a noise-free online streaming and browsing experience.
C. Identifying my customer email
To activate and login on to your AdTranquility's Chrome desktop browser extension, you’ll need to know the email address you used to purchase your AdTranquility subscription.
If you can't recall the email address you used, here's how to locate it:
- Search your email inbox for an invoice related to your AdTranquility subscription, or use the search bar in your inbox and search for: AdTranquility.

- Open the AdTranquility extension.
- If Privacy Shield and Spam Shield icons are colored blue and the Enabled status is displayed, full protection is enabled.
3. If Privacy Shield and Spam Shield icons are colored red and the Disabled status is displayed, you must toggle the status bar(s) to the right to enable protection again.
