1. What is the Block log and which notifications are being blocked?
The Block log is a comprehensive record list comprising all notifications being blocked by Spam Shield on your mobile device, and it's only available on the AdTranquility mobile app.
By default, if you've never customized your notification blocking preferences, all push/pop spam notifications are being blocked. However, if you have customized your notification blocking preferences, then only the notifications related to your customized filters are being blocked.
2. How can I access the Block log?
The complete list of all notifications being blocked by Spam Shield on your mobile device is available in the Block log.
Here’s how to access it:
- Open the AdTranquility mobile app., access the main screen, and tap on the View block log link to be redirected to the Block log screen.
2. Once the Block log screen loads, you’ll have access to the complete list of blocked notifications.
PLEASE NOTE
- The Block log is an option only available on AdTranquility's mobile app.
- If you're using AdTranquility's desktop browser extension it currently offers no Block log, which means that no records of the notifications blocked on your desktop browser are kept/saved.
- For guidance on how to customize your notification blocking preferences, refer to section 2. How can I set up the Spam Shield? from our features’ setup help article.
3. How can I delete blocked notifications?
Here's how to delete blocked notifications from your mobile device:
- Open the AdTranquility app., access the main screen, and tap on the View block log link to be redirected to the Block log screen.
2. On the Block log screen, tap on the Pencil icon located in the upper right corner of the screen, to
enable the edit mode.
3. After enabling edit mode, you can delete all notifications at once by tapping the circle icon located
in the top-right corner of the notifications list. This will automatically select all notifications. Next, tap the Recycle bin/trash icon to instantly delete them.
4. To view more details about one particular notification, tap that specific notification from the list. You
can then decide to delete it by simply tapping the Recycle bin/trash icon, located in the upper right
corner of the screen.
Important: This action will delete only one notification at a time, and you'll be prompted to
confirm the deletion by tapping Delete in the confirmation pop-up.
