1. Setting up AdTranquility’s app. on my mobile device

 

A. Downloading and installing AdTranquility’s mobile app.:

1. For Android devices:

  • Visit AdTranquility's product page on the Google Play Store.
  • Tap Install to download and install AdTranquility Spam Protection application on your Android mobile device.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to ensure the correct installation and set up of AdTranquility's mobile app. on your Android device.


B. Activating AdTranquility’s mobile app. and enabling protection:

PLEASE NOTE

  • If you have not yet downloaded and installed AdTranquility's mobile app., refer to section A. Downloading and installing AdTranquility’s mobile app. to download and install it first.
  • If you prefer following a step-by-step guide visually detailing all the instructions outlined below, refer to our Android QuickStart Guide.
  • The availability of AdTranquility's features is contingent upon the product used and the operating system running on your device. As a result, some features may not yet be available/fully supported on your specific device and/or operating system. If you need more information/guidance on this point, please refer to section 3. I need assistance from Support and reach out to our Support Team.


Here's how to activate the AdTranquility app. on your mobile device:

  1. Open the AdTranquility app. and tap on Sign in to access the Login screen.

   

      2. Enter your customer email (the email address you used to purchase our AdTranquility                            subscription) and tap on the Verify button, to allow our system to verify your email address. If                you don't know your customer email, refer to section C. Identifying my customer email. 

      3. Next, tap on the Allow button to give AdTranquility permission to send you the notifications

          required in the activation process.

      4. On the next screen, toggle the Spam Shield permissions bar to the right. Then, tap the View

          Settings button to be redirected to your phone’s Settings/Notification access.

      5. Once redirected, toggle the AdTranquility status bar to the right to activate your spam                            protection.

      6. Tap the Allow button, to enable the AdTranquility mobile app. to start blocking and protecting                 you from all future push/pop spam notifications.

      7. Tap the on-screen notification sent to your device by AdTranquility, to be redirected to the app.              and conclude the activation process.

      8. Once redirected to AdTranquility's app. main screen, tap on the OK button to activate Privacy

          Shield’s VPN connection on your device.

      9. Now, the AdTranquility logo should be displayed in blue color in the middle of your app. screen.

          And both Privacy Shield and Spam Shield icons should be colored in blue. This

          means that full protection is activated on your mobile device. If you see a red logo/icon                      instead, tap again on AdTranquility’s logo to activate your protection.

 

 

C. Identifying my customer email

To activate and login on your AdTranquility mobile app., you’ll need to know the email address you used to purchase your AdTranquility subscription.

If you can't recall the email address you used, here's how to locate it:

  1. Use the Search bar inside your active email inbox(es) and search for:
  2. If your search returns results, please use that email address to proceed with activating your AdTranquility mobile app. and enabling your protection. Follow the steps provided in section A. Downloading and installing AdTranquility’s mobile app. and/or B. Activating AdTranquility’s mobile app. and enabling protection, to login and activate your AdTranquility mobile app.


D. Checking if protection is enabled on my mobile device

PLEASE NOTE: If you have not yet downloaded, installed and/or activated AdTranquility's mobile app., refer to section A. Downloading and installing AdTranquility’s mobile app. to download and install it, and/or to B. Activating AdTranquility’s mobile app. and enabling protection and follow the steps indicated.

Once AdTranquility's mobile app. is activated on your device, you are protected from spam push/pop notifications 24/7, and your online activities’ privacy is completely safeguarded, for as long as your subscription remains active. You're able to check/change the features’ status/settings at any time.

Here's how to check if protection is enabled on your mobile device:

  1. Open AdTranquility's mobile app.
  2. If the AdTranquility logo is displayed in blue color on the app's main screen, and both Privacy Shield and Spam Shield icons are colored blue, full protection is enabled on your mobile device.

      3. If the AdTranquility logo is displayed in red color your mobile device is not protected. Tap

          AdTranquility’s main logo to activate your protection again.

      4. You can also tap on ⚙️ (Settings cogwheel icon) found at the top right corner of the app’s main

          screen to check/change AdTranquility’s app. features settings and/or manage your                                  subscription.

 

2. Setting up AdTranquility’s extension on my desktop browser

A. Downloading and installing AdTranquility’s desktop browser extension:

 

1. For Chrome browsers:

  • Visit AdTranquility's product page on the Chrome Store. 
  • Click Add to Chrome button to download and install the extension on your Chrome desktop browser.
  • Next, pin the AdTranquility extension to your Chrome browser bar for easy access:
    • Click on the Extensions icon.
    • Locate the AdTranquility extension and click on the pin icon to ensure it is displayed in your browser bar.

 

2. For Edge browsers:

  • Visit AdTranquility's product page on the Microsoft Store. 
  • Click the Get button to download and install the extension on your Edge desktop browser.
  • Next, pin the AdTranquility extension to your Edge browser bar for easy access:
    • Click on the Extensions icon.
    • Locate the AdTranquility extension and click on the show/hide icon to make it visible in your browser bar.


B. Activating AdTranquility’s desktop browser extension and enabling protection:

 

PLEASE NOTE

  • If you have not yet downloaded and installed AdTranquility's Chrome/Edge desktop browser extension, refer to section A. Downloading and installing AdTranquility’s desktop browser extension to download and install it first.

  • If you have installed the AdTranquility extension on desktop browser, but you're unable to locate it, you should: 1) click on the vertical or horizontal three dots icon / , depending on you browser, located in the far-right corner of your browser bar, 2) click on Extensions/Manage Extensions, and locate AdTranquility's extension from the extensions list displayed. 

  • If you prefer following a step-by-step guide visually detailing the instructions outlined below, please refer to our Chrome Quick Start Guide and/or Edge Quick Start Guide. 
  • The availability of AdTranquility's features is contingent upon the product used, the operating system running on your device, and your preferred browser. As a result, some features may not yet be available/fully supported on your specific device, operating system, and/or browser. Here's how to activate AdTranquility extension on your Chrome/Edge desktop browser:    

  1. Click on the AdTranquility extension, to open it and access the Login screen.

 

      2. Enter your customer email (the email address you used to purchase your AdTranquility

          subscription) and click on the Verify button, to allow our system to verify your email address. If              you don't know your customer email, refer to section C. Identifying my customer email. 

      3. Once you're on AdTranquility's extension main screen, you’ll be able to set up all the extension

          features:

    • Toggle the Block notifications status bar to the right, to activate Spam Shield, and permanently block all spam push/pop messages and ads.
    • Toggle the Enable VPN status bar to the right to activate Privacy Shield and ensure your online security and privacy. Select your Preferred location (VPN), from the list of available countries.
    • Toggle Block ads and Block video ads status bars to the right, to activate AdBlocker, and benefit from a noise-free online streaming and browsing experience.

 

 


C. Identifying my customer email

To activate and login on your AdTranquility's Chrome/Edge desktop browser extension, you’ll need to know the email address you used to purchase your AdTranquility subscription.

If you can't recall the email address you used, here's how to locate it:

  1. Use the Search bar inside your active email inbox(es) and search for:

  1. Open the AdTranquility extension.
  2. If Privacy Shield and Spam Shield icons are colored in blue color and Enabled status is displayed, full protection is enabled.

      3. If Privacy Shield and Spam Shield icons are colored in red color and Disabled status is                        displayed, you must toggle the status bar(s) to the right to enable protection again.
